About Ivory Crest Care

Our Story

Founded and personally operated by a California-licensed Respiratory Therapist and RCFE Administrator — because your loved one deserves care led by someone who truly understands medicine.

Our Mission

Why We Created Ivory Crest Care

Ivory Crest Care was founded to fill a real gap in Inland Empire senior care — a small, intimate, licensed care home where residents are known as individuals, not room numbers. Located in Loma Linda, CA and serving families across San Bernardino County and beyond, we were built on a simple belief: that exceptional care starts with exceptional leadership.

California DSS-licensed as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE), Ivory Crest Care is owned and personally operated by a California-licensed Respiratory Therapist and certified RCFE Administrator with a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management. This clinical and administrative foundation means our approach to care is grounded in real medical expertise — not just hospitality management.

We believe the best care happens in a real home. Our 6-resident maximum is not a limitation — it's our promise to every family we serve. Six residents means our administrator knows each person by name, by diagnosis, by preference, and by story.

We didn't just build a care home in a good neighborhood. We built it inside the only Blue Zone in the United States — and we brought clinical leadership to match. Families throughout the Inland Empire choose Ivory Crest Care because they know their loved one is being overseen by someone with both the heart and the credentials to provide truly exceptional care.

Our Values

The Principles Behind Every Day of Care

01

Dignity First

Every resident has a rich life history. We honor it in everything we do.

02

Family as Partners

Families are part of our care team. We keep communication open, always.

03

Undivided Attention

Six residents. Six people who receive our complete focus, every single day.

Clinical Leadership

Care Led by a Licensed Healthcare Professional

Licensed Respiratory Therapist

California-licensed Respiratory Therapist with clinical experience in acute and chronic respiratory care — including COPD, heart failure, and pulmonary disease management. The most common conditions in our resident population.

Bachelor's Degree — Health Care Management

Formal academic training in healthcare systems, regulatory compliance, care coordination, and facility operations — applied every day at Ivory Crest Care.

Certified RCFE Administrator

California DSS-certified Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Administrator — the license that authorizes the operation of Ivory Crest Care and ensures full Title 22 compliance.

A Different Kind of Care Home Leader

Most residential care homes are operated by individuals with backgrounds in business or hospitality. Ivory Crest Care is different. Our owner and administrator brings a clinical background as a California-licensed Respiratory Therapist — trained in the very conditions that affect most of our residents: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, sleep apnea, and age-related respiratory decline.

Combined with a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management and RCFE Administrator certification, this background means Ivory Crest Care operates at the intersection of genuine medical knowledge and professional facility management. When a resident's condition changes, our administrator recognizes it — not just as a caregiver, but as a clinician.

For families placing a loved one with complex medical needs into residential care, this clinical foundation is not a small detail. It is the reason they choose Ivory Crest Care.

Ivory Crest Care is a licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). We are not a skilled nursing facility (SNF) and do not provide licensed respiratory therapy treatment services as part of standard RCFE care. Our owner's clinical background informs our approach to care oversight, resident health monitoring, and family communication.

Why Small Matters

Why Families Across the Inland Empire Choose Residential Care Homes Over Large Facilities

Staff-to-Resident Ratio

A 6-bed home means caregivers always know your loved one personally.

Home Environment

Real bedrooms, a real kitchen, real living spaces — not hallways and fluorescent lights.

Personalized Care Plans

No one-size-fits-all schedules. Every routine is built around the individual.

Family Access

Visit anytime. We never make families feel like guests.
